Over the past decade and a half, the trading account @crypto_rand has drawn the community's attention to the enormous proportion of growth demonstrated by Bitcoin, the world's pioneering cryptocurrency.
He also mentioned Twitter users who may have become billionaires during that period.
Bitcoin has increased by 198,333,000% over the past 15 years
The screenshot shared by the aforementioned X account shows a tweet published on August 12, 2010. A man named Christian Walker (@javashaman) mined 100 bitcoins and asked if he was still rich.
@crypto_rand said in 2010 Bitcoin was traded at a price of $0.06 per BTC and 15 years ago at a price of 100 Bitcoin. In 2025, 100 Bitcoin is worth $11,900,000. This is an incredible growth of 198,333,000%.
Just 15 years ago today!
The price of $BTC was $0,06
2010 Value = $6
2025 Value = $11,900,000hodl

However, it is unclear whether Christian Walker still holds this Bitcoin or is selling it much earlier. His X account still exists, but it looks inactive. This guy joined Twitter when it was founded in 2006. His latest tweet is dated February 2, 2024. The tweet that took place before that was published in 2018 (only one). Two posts were tweeted in 2015. The majority of social media activities on Twitter took place between 2010 and 2013.
Strangely enough, the bitcoin tweet mentioned by @crypto_rand has a completely different post published on August 12, 2010. Still, it's possible that he deleted the BTC post.
Nakamoto AT will disappear in 2010
Nakamoto at, creator of the mysterious Bitcoin, mined its first BTC block in 2009. No one has heard of him since. No one knows his true identity or where he is.
Hal Finney was the first person to receive the Bitcoin trade from Satoshi. He was the first to download and run Bitcoin software. In 2013, Finney died of an irreversible illness a year later, after posting his final message to Bitcointalk.
