Software intelligence company MicroStrategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) currently operates under the name Strategy, releasing new financial data on Saturday, highlighting its aggressive Bitcoin-focused strategy. Executive Secretary Michael Saylor highlighted the company's Treasury success on social media platform X, saying:

The strategy's Bitcoin reserve has grown to 538,200 BTC, with the current price at $94,367. The company's Bitcoin Net Asset Value (NAV) totaled to $50.8 billion. The metric reveals 12.1% Bitcoin yield since the start of the year, equivalent to a gain of 54,029 BTC. On a quarterly basis (QTD), the company achieved a 1.0% yield, representing a gain of 5,209 BTC and associated $492 million. The strategy achieved a 74.3% Bitcoin yield in 2024, resulting in a profit of 140,538 BTC, equivalent to an estimated value of $13.1 billion.
The strategy continues to strengthen its Bitcoin holdings by leveraging debt and preferred stock sales. The latest purchase, disclosed on April 21, acquired 6,556 BTC at around $555.8 million with an average price of $84,785 per Bitcoin. Saylor also revealed on April 20 that public data for the first quarter 2025 showed more than 13,000 institutions, with 814,000 retail accounts holding MSTR stock directly. Additionally, around 55 million individuals have indirect exposure through exchange trading funds (ETFs), mutual funds, pension plans, and insurance portfolios.
