XRP Ledger (XRPL), the mainstream programmable blockchain known for its XRP Crypto tokens, is approaching a critical technology update. XRPL batch transactions demonstrated by XLS-56D can change the narrative of XRP ledger app development, monetization, and inappropriate tokens.
XRP ledger employing batch transactions: Major proposals released
The XLS-56D “Batch Transactions,” a new XRPL proposal written by XRPL Labs developer Denis Angell, has been published for public discussion. If implemented, the upgrade is set to make XRPL assets transfers more cost-effective and user-friendly than ever before.

And an important password? Monetization.
Nowadays, it's even easier for developers to build trustworthy, revenue-generating apps directly on-chain.

For DAPP developers, XLS-56D activation gives you the opportunity to build trustworthy and profitable apps directly in the chain.
Technically, batch transactions allow blockchain accounts to bundle a set of actions into a single transfer and validate them in an atomic way. This means that up to eight actions will only involve one submission action, one signature and one fee.
With scattered code bundled into a single unstoppable flow, XRPL Devs can provide better paid features, automate user flows, build SaaS-style payment logic, and create premium tiers in a seamless, standardized, low-cost way.
New Dawn of XRPL NFT and Apps
For example, while building B2C DAPPs on XRP ledgers, engineers will be able to add more sophisticated business logic for more attractive and profitable monetization designs.
Apps can charge platform fees within user transactions, initiate untrusted token swaps between accounts, and attach fallback logic to failed transfers.
Additionally, new developments are of paramount importance for the NFTs of XRP ledgers. The application can take advantage of paid NFT mint or wrist flow.
Voting for the revision is public about official XRP ledger resources. At the time of printing, we have gained support for three of the 28 required validators, and Ripple is already signaling support.
