Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee, one of the key figures at Crypto Markets, made a very optimistic price forecast for Ethereum (ETH).
Tomley: Ethereum could reach $12,000 by the end of the year
In an interview with Livestream, Lee predicted that ETH will reach $5,500 in the coming weeks and will be able to trade in the $10,000-$12,000 by the end of the year.
Lee pointed out that Ethereum is becoming increasingly a priority blockchain platform by the Wall Street institution, highlighting that ETH's current value is still significantly lower in price by the market.
He said Ethereum's growing ecosystem, institutional interests, and Decentralized Financial Financial (DEFI) use cases are one of the most important factors supporting price upward movements.
Lee, who issued a similar statement in recent weeks, said Ethereum will break the $4,000 threshold in the short term. His new forecast said he would take a more ambitious approach, and that the market could push ETH prices up to the $10,000-$15,000 range by the end of the year.
Lee's comments have attracted investors' attention, particularly with the growing institutional interest in US analysts' spot Ethereum ETFs, as well as the potential for stronger growth potential compared to Bitcoin thanks to both staking returns and institutional adoption.
Today, Ethereum remains on the radar of investors despite market volatility.
