On Thursday, Memecoin Traders panicked after the sales button stopped working. On Axiom's Discord Chat, a popular trading platform that integrates with Solana-based Memecoin generator Pump Fun, the administrator admitted, “If you need to sell, you can only do it on the Pump Fun website.”
The user responded using the skull (or “dead”), using the emoji 166 times, and threw the middle finger emoji another 44 times.
Hundreds of complaints have rained in AS Axiom trader escaped from position, lost money and paniced to demand a refund.
Support tickets stacked beyond the capabilities of normal, responsive customer support agents.

Axiom is a Ycombinator-backed platform for trading Solana Tokens. Through integrations such as APIs, MemeCoin traders can usually make purchases and sales of Pump Fun MemeCoins via Axiom.
That ease ended abruptly on Thursday afternoon.
Axiom traders lose as a malfunction in the sale button
Axiom denounced the Pump's enjoyment for pushing for a technical update that temporarily banned sales. “Pump fans propelled the broken change without notifying the trading bot,” the administrator posted on Discord.
“We're actively patching it now,” they assured customers.
Broadcast on social media including titles such as “”Pump Fan Buns on sale!“The post on X went viral.
“Now, no bot can be sold as a bot only on their website,” exclaimed another.
When managing large or leveraged transactions, uninterrupted access to perform buy and sell sales is important to manage your market location.
Customer complaints flooded with general chats of axioms. “I lost three sols in a coin due to a bug that requires a refund,” one victim wrote.
“I just lost ten sols,” another wrote.
“I waited three hours and haven't seen any refunds or responses,” another complained. “A 1.5 Sol refund is required,” another Sol posted.

Around 4:20pm in New York, Pump fun seemed to have reverted API changes and resolved the error.
Axiom administrators were overwhelmed by support and refund tickets and tried to reassure customers that the emergency had passed.
Axiom was released in beta in late January 2025 and opened for public transactions in February. By May, it reached $100 million in revenue..
At the time of publication, the platform had accumulated $256 million in total fees paid by users.
