
The Privacy and Scaling Search (PSE) team of Ethereum Foundation has released a new roadmap that approaches privacy as an Ethereum's core component of the future. In the blog post released on September 13, the PSE team focused on the new personal information protection roadmap as a “priority” team to clarify the operation gap and to promote cooperation with developers throughout the ecosystem, which is a privacy at the center of Ethereum's applications.
The core of this approach is the three areas of exploration, that is, personal writing, personal reading and personal proof domain. In the context, Private Writes aims to make chain behavior, such as previous and governance votes, while Private Reads is an area where you often protect your identity and intentions or that you are a sensitive metadata when you query an app or a chain.
In terms of personal proof, PSE aims to make it efficient and preserve personal information protection. This initiative is designed to check the information on a variety of platforms that can check the chain and off chain status, web data, documents and identity proof without exposing unnecessary information.
Current major initiative
For the next 3-6 months, Ethrereum's personal information protection stewards have been described several specific priorities that are important to affect three major tracks mentioned earlier. Privator plans to develop personal information support through projects such as PlasmaFold and Kohaku and promote stealth addresses and personal ballot protocols.
This effort also expands to confidential Defi, where the team aims to set up a personal information protection framework that can unlock institutional adoption in cooperation with partners.
