David Lawrence Ramsey III, a financial commentator and founder of Ramsey Solutions, a US radio personality (Ramsey Show), denounces cryptocurrency, stating that it may be more legal in the future but not in the present.
He also admitted that Crypto is a currency, but not Bitcoin or Ethereum, but a digital currency that generally talks about crypto. However, when he places gambling, merchandise, crypto, and Fiat currency in the same pot, his views on crypto are quite mixed.
Dave Ramsey: Bitcoin is more stupid than crap
He has been washed and clearly done very limited research on $BTC and hurt his audience with this advice

“Cryptocurrency is goods and currency.”
In a video excerpt published by the @discovercrypto_ x account, David Ramsey spoke at a recent Ramsey show, answering questions from his co-host about his views on Crypto.
His view on cryptocurrency in general seems to be quite mixed, as he still calls it a gambling tool and fetish while he believes it is a digital currency.
While answering questions with his co-host, Ramsey said he doesn't believe that the code is a proven investment, as he considers it a commodity like gold or oil. He noted that he would not buy oil rigs either. “It's not a proven investment because it's a product. A product is by no means a proven investment,” Ramsey said.
“It's more ridiculous than crap.”
When asked about purchasing codes, he said he doesn't gamble much. He later stated that crypto is the currency and that he prefers not to invest in it, as if he hasn't invested in the Japanese yen or the German mark (currently Germany and the entire EU are using the euro). According to Ramsey, Fiat Currencies has a long track record, but Crypto is also a digital currency with a short track record. In the future, we acknowledged that if Crypto gets a longer track record, it could become more legal.
But so far, “it's just that all the cool kids are doing stupid things.” He compared crypto investments to the scintillating investment in emmass (fancy Australian birds), a flashy Australian bird, rather than a cow that was considered a big investment in the past. They also want people to look cool, so they're losing money on it, Ramsey said he calls the code a fetish.
He concluded the anti-crypto-tirede by saying that the code is “more ridiculous than crap.”
