Pharos, a programmable open finance layer 1, has officially integrated the Chainlink standard from day one of mainnet launch.
This project chooses Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as the standard cross-chain infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable cross-chain value transfer and messaging.
Pharos also employs Chainlink Data Streams to support the development of high-performance real-world asset (RWA) markets with fast and accurate price data. Built on Chainlink's tokenization infrastructure, Pharos is positioned to scale enterprise-grade tokenized RWA for global adoption.
Pharos aims to provide advanced enterprise solutions for institutions focused on green finance, digital payments, and programmable asset ownership. By making institutional RWA available to retail investors, the platform aims to accelerate RWA adoption, expand access to DeFi, and onboard new participants to the ecosystem.
To power these markets and connect them to the broader multi-chain environment, Pharos relies on accurate, low-latency on-chain market data and secure infrastructure for the transfer of value and messages, making Chainlink data streams and Chainlink CCIP critical components of its architecture.
“Pharos adopts Chainlink CCIP as its official cross-chain infrastructure and uses Chainlink Data for low-latency market data.” “Adopting Streams represents a major step forward in powering secure, high-performance cross-chain applications. By adopting Chainlink's interoperability standards, Pharos will enable builders to launch organically scalable applications for tokenized real-world assets, leveraging the same secure Chainlink infrastructure that has already enabled tens of trillions in on-chain transaction value.” Mr. Eid, Chief Business Officer, Chainlink Labs
By leveraging CCIP as a cross-chain foundation, Pharos benefits from the defense-in-depth security provided by Chainlink's Decentralized Oracle Network (DON). These networks are comprised of high-quality Oracle node operators who independently verify each cross-chain transaction.
CCIP integration also enables secure and simplified token transfers via the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, allowing tokens to be instantly transferred between chains without vendor lock-in.
