BLIFE Protocol has officially merged with Portal, forming a new organization under the Portal brand. This integration represents a major move in the Web3 gaming and interoperability business space and was announced on December 22, 2025. This integration is expected to bring together BLIFE's Bitcoin-centric infrastructure and community with Portal's cross-chain gaming and liquidity platform, minimizing fragmentation between the blockchain gaming ecosystem.

The new integration portal maintains interoperability with other chains and allows for the addition of BLIFE's Bitcoin-native products and users. Benjamin Charvit, former Ubisoft games (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) director, will assume the role of chief executive officer to lead the combined organization.
Animoca brand and G-20 relaunch again
Animoca Brands, an early sponsor and major investor in the Web3 gaming space, will be able to use the new funding to help relaunch the portal and expand into its vast gaming category. Animoca Brands' participation demonstrates institutional support for intersectionality between Bitcoin-based games, interoperability, and Web3 applications.
Portal also includes G-20 as a strategic and ecosystem partner, allowing Portal to expand its infrastructure and access developers at a larger scale. These strategic alliances will help accelerate the portal's roadmap and establish it as a cross-chain gaming infrastructure layer.
BLIFE Bitcoin Ecosystem Joins Portal Infrastructure
For the past two years, BLIFE has been working to increase the use of Web3 on Bitcoin in infrastructure and consumer products. These are BLIFE.ID, the first identity passport written in Bitcoin itself, and Odin.fun, a fast-growing meme coin trading platform. With these services, BLIFE has brought tens of thousands of Bitcoin users to Web3, developing one of the largest Bitcoin-centric user networks focused on gaming and cultural experiences.
This community is believed to form a broader and more diverse audience for developers of interoperable gaming applications to target, in addition to Portal's existing cross-chain audience.
Beyond Bridge powers Bitcoin connectivity
One of the strategic assets acquired by the portal as a result of the merger is Beyond, a three-way Bitcoin Layer 1 bridge that BLIFE purchased in mid-2025. Beyond is already preparing to launch its mainnet and plans to join Portal's interoperability stack. Since it's live, it offers native Bitcoin connectivity and unique cross-chain bridging capabilities.
This establishes the portal as a gateway for Bitcoin users who want to experience Web3 gaming without leaving the Bitcoin world. Beyond integration, on-chain liquidity routing and asset mobility could also benefit.
Portal's Vision for Integrated Web3 Games
