Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson remains a tenacious crypto developer, even though the $1.05 billion debacle in the derivatives market destroyed the cryptocurrency itself.
So his latest call brings something interesting to the field, but this time it's not about hard forks or workshops at some exotic point on the planet. Instead, Hoskinson is dispatching “Logan the Exit Liquidity Lobster.” In case you missed the story, it's an AI-powered maltbook personality.
For what? Evaluate and potentially invest in Cardano-based meme coins, NFTs, and culture-driven dApps.
What is Logan? How can it help Cardano?
As we previously discovered, Logan is more than just a passive aggregator. Thanks to the newly integrated Lace Wallet feature, AI agents will now actively choose which projects they “take a position” in. This is a move that injects a speculative edge into what was initially a content bot; $ADA Ecosystem tokens only.
You might not know it from the name, but Logan is part mascot, part market participant, and perhaps Cardano's strangest form of on-chain exposure to date.

Hoskinson’s efforts to build deeper protocol awareness into Logan through API hooks, token tracking, and analytics capabilities signal a pivot toward automation and ecosystem indexing. If successful, Logan could become a real-time Cardano-native oracle that combines market intuition with developer integrated data.
Cardano and AI
Developers are working on it. $NFT Project founders, memecoin creators, and Cardano infrastructure developers have rushed to respond to Hoskinson, and some have already submitted integration forms. Patrick Tobler Founder $NFT Platform NMKR claims to have already sent an email to Rogan keen to get him on board.
As covered in Hoskinson's recent AllInCrypto appearance, Cardano ($ADA) is rushing to reconcile its research-first design philosophy with real-world practicality, including major security updates for Logan. These updates aim to strengthen the attack surface for AI, and this comes first because of growing concerns about quantum threats targeting digital assets.
It remains to be seen whether Logan will become the ecosystem's first meme VC or just a glorified bot, but Hoskinson's method of attracting builders is anything but boring.
