Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made an important assessment of the future of the crypto industry on the Threadguy podcast broadcast today.
“The crypto industry isn't always smooth sailing. Even with strong founders, strong projects, and strong communities, you're going to face challenges from time to time. But as long as the industry continues to do the right things and continue to build together, there are many different areas for deep development. This industry will continue to grow because of its developers,” CZ said in a livestream.
Mr. Zhao also touched on the importance of blockchain technology, saying, “Blockchain is a new technology and is much better than current technology.”
In one episode, CZ also commented on the recent increase in interest in Chinese meme coins. Zhao said, “I'm seeing Western users trying to figure this out, but it's actually a complete coincidence. Anything I share on Twitter, whether it's an image, an icon, a word, becomes a meme coin. So I've been very cautious about sharing for a while. This has become a culture within the Binance community, and a significant portion of that community is made up of Chinese-speaking users.”
