Binance Futures to abolish perpetual contracts of COIN-M GMTUSD and DOGSUSD
Following the liquidation process, the contract in question will be permanently delisted from the platform.
Binance warned users to manually close open positions before the specified date. Additionally, the opening of new positions for these contracts will be disabled from 11:30 AM.
The company urged users to be careful during the checkout process, especially during the last hour.
During this period, the Futures Insurance Fund will not support liquidation and potential liquidation transactions will only be submitted once via the “Immediate Order or Cancellation Order (IOCO)” method. If the position is not reduced to a sufficient margin level by an IOCO transaction, the remaining portion will be closed through an automatic deleveraging (ADL) process.
Binance stressed that users should actively monitor their positions, especially in the lead-up to liquidation, due to the risk of high volatility and low liquidity. The platform said the measures are aimed at maintaining market stability and strengthening risk management.
