Binance has announced that it will support the planned network upgrade of the Moon River (MOVR) network.
According to the exchange's official statement, in order to maintain the highest level of user experience and ensure the smooth progress of technical processes, deposit and withdrawal transactions for tokens on the Moon River network will be temporarily suspended on January 6, 2026.
According to the announcement, deposit and withdrawal operations for tokens connected to the Moon River (MOVR) network will be suspended as of 3:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
The network upgrade is scheduled to occur on January 6, 2026 at approximately 4:00 PM at block height 14,629,541. Binance said the platform will meet all technical requirements on behalf of users throughout the upgrade process.
Binance officials emphasized that this temporary restriction is limited to deposit and withdrawal transactions only. Trading of tokens on the Moonriver network will not be affected by the upgrade and users will be able to continue their trading activities, whether spot trading or other trading types, without interruption.
Once the upgrade is complete and the network is confirmed to be operating stably, deposits and withdrawals of Moonriver Network Tokens will resume. Binance said that no further announcements will be made after this process and users can track reactivations directly through the platform.
Moonriver is known as a smart contract network compatible with the Polkadot ecosystem, and this upgrade is expected to improve network performance and security. Binance’s support for network updates like this once again shows that the platform closely monitors its technical infrastructure and prioritizes the security of its users’ assets.
