Binance supports the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork process.
The company is preparing for technical work scheduled for December 16, 2025 and January 14, 2026.
As a first step, Binance will conduct maintenance on the BEP20 wallet on December 16, 2025 at 9:00 AM.
In line with this, we will temporarily suspend token deposit and withdrawal operations on the BNB Smart Chain Network from 08:55 on the same day. The maintenance time is scheduled to be approximately 1 hour, after which we will resume operations.
A major network upgrade and hard fork procedure will take place on January 14, 2026 at 05:30. Prior to this date, Binance will suspend token deposit and withdrawal operations on the BEP20 network from 5:25am. The company specifically emphasized that trading services will not be interrupted and token trading will continue as usual.
Binance stated that all technical requirements will be managed by Binance on behalf of users. Once the new upgrade is confirmed to be stable, deposits and withdrawals will automatically resume and no further announcements will be made.
