South Korea-based cryptocurrency Exchange Upbit has announced the launch of Linea's trading support by unveiling a new list.
Upbit now supports Linea (Linea) transaction
Linea will begin trading on September 11th with KRW, BTC and USDT pairs, according to an official Exchange statement. Linea deposits will be active at 00:00, and transactions will be active at 01:00.
The exchange emphasized that Linea sediment and withdrawals are supported only through the Linea network. Investors were warned not to use the wrong network. Otherwise, the transfer will be disabled and the refund process may take a long time. The contract address was also shared in the official announcement.
Several restrictions apply at the start of a transaction. Purchase orders will be closed in the first five minutes after the transaction is opened. A minimum selling price limit will be set, and only limit orders will be accepted for the first two hours.
Linea stands out as a Layer 2 blockchain network that offers scalability with ZK rollup technology while maintaining Ethereum security and decentralization. It also provides full integration with Ethereum Virtual Machine through ZKEVM compatibility, allowing developers to use existing smart contracts and tools without modification.
Upbit warned users against investment risk and reminded them that digital asset prices can be affected by sudden fluctuations based on global market conditions.
