Cryptocurrency investor and social media phenomenon Konstantin Garish was found dead in his Lamborghini during the historic market crash.
The incident took place in Kiev, and local sources say Garish committed suicide.
According to a social media post by a cryptocurrency influencer, Garish, also known as “Kostya Kudo,” committed suicide with a gun given to him by Kyrillo Budanov, the head of Ukraine's military intelligence.
Garish is the co-founder of a cryptocurrency investment firm called Cryptology and manages about $65 million in funds, sources said. About $10 million of this money is said to be held by Ukraine's Military Intelligence Service (GUR), and the rest is said to be invested by senior officials and bureaucrats in Kiev.
Garish is said to have suffered large losses in futures trading due to the recent plunge in the cryptocurrency market, causing investors to lose money. A recently launched token project also reportedly suffered millions of dollars in losses.
The source claimed that Garrish had a mental breakdown due to increased pressure and the market crash after President Donald Trump announced 100% tariffs on China.
