ReachMe, a paid messaging platform operating on the BNB chain, has announced that it has completely ceased operations. All services on the platform have been permanently shut down.
ReachMe gained a lot of attention when it was used by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ). CZ previously charged ReachMe a fee of 1 BNB per message. This fee was later reduced to 0.8 BNB.
An announcement on the platform's official website included the following statement:
ReachMe service has been terminated. Thank you for joining the ReachMe community. After careful consideration, we have decided to terminate the service. We are grateful for the support of our users and the connections made through our platform.
The statement also said that all services have been permanently shut down, user data will be processed securely in accordance with our privacy policy, and any transactions or messaging will no longer be possible.
In a recent statement, CZ acknowledged that projects he supported had failed and said it was impossible to succeed all the time.
