The BNB chain development indicator showed 75.6K events, but faced a significant decline of 9.45% over that period. The number of ecosystem contributors increased by 0.78% to establish 904 contributors. Developer activity on Polygon fell by 10.35% when the platform registered 72.5K events. The number of contributors participating in the project reached 704 developers through a growth of 0.86%.
Shifting activities in intermediate ecosystems
Arbitrum and optimism both recorded a decline in development events in the Ethereum Layer 2 network. Arbitrum’s development events fell 7.62%, reaching 63.1K activity, with optimism falling 6.82% at the 58.6K event. The two ecosystems face different growth patterns among development contributors as contributors expanded by 3.03% and 0.39% respectively.
Avalanche has dropped by 12.08% in total development activities to reach 48.7K events. The number of contributors associated with the platform has grown by 4.49% to 442 developers. The COSMOS project has become the number one in simultaneous growth between development activities and market positioning among the top 10 blockchain projects. The avalanche recorded a 1.33% increase in development events at 46.1K, but its contributor base fell by 5.45% to 416.
The decline continues across all decline projects
Development activities for Solana, Harmony and Polkadot have been significantly reduced. Solana Network saw a 7.6% decline at development events reach 42.9k, with the participant base increasing by 2.63% to 429 developers. Harmony suffered the biggest drop of 13.19% as development activity fell to 42.7k. The number of contributors contributing to the project fell by 2.62%, but the total membership was 371.
Polkadot finished as the 10th place project at the 34K developer event, down 8.04%. The platform has lost 0.91% of its contributors currently counting at 325. Despite the declining activity observed, these platforms remain high within the blockchain ecosystem through sustainable development activities.
