Herd prices skyrocketed above 70% due to a surge in staking activity, with 25% of token supply locking for an average of 265 days.
Flock.io (Flock) prices have exceeded 70% in the last 24 hours and are currently trading at $0.27, with trading volumes exceeding 400%. The rally appears to be driven by major milestones. 25% of the circulating supply of tokens in the 43.1 million group is locked for an average of 265 days.

By staking a Flock, the user generates a GMFlock. This is a non-transferable token introduced on April 28th as part of Flock.io's updated toconomies. GMFlocks act as proof of participation and must assume an important role within the Flock.io ecosystem.
The amount of GMFlocks acquired depends on the duration of time the user locks the herd, up to 365 days. For lock periods of less than 30 days, the exchange rate is 1:1. Every day over 30 users receive an additional 0.006 GMFlock per pack.
GMFlock itself is not transferable, but staking rewards are still distributed among the herds. It can be rested for additional GMFlocks, used within the ecosystem, or traded in the open market.
With more fuel to the rise in herd prices, Bitget recently listed tokens for spot trading against Tether (USDT).

Flock.io is building a community-driven platform to diversify AI model transactions through AI Arena, FL Alliance and AI Marketplace.
AI Arena is a distributed computing platform that allows users to train and fine-tune AI models. Users bet on the platform's native tokens, the herd, to participate in tasks such as training and AI models validation.
The FL Alliance is a collaborative environment that allows users to provide their own data and computational resources to further refine their models. Using a federal learning approach, users train models on local data while maintaining data privacy. The platform builds a global model by aggregating model weights from various participants. This is being improved continuously through community contributions.
Finally, the model is deployed on the AI marketplace, which can be used in a variety of applications, and user feedback serves as an important input for continuous improvement. One example is BTC-GPT, a model from Crypto Trading. It already handles over 10,000 model calls.
