Cardano-based decentralized cloud service Iagon has announced that legendary automaker Ford will act as an advisor to a project aimed at addressing issues related to document handling.
Large companies such as Ford produce a large amount of sensitive legal data, including deposits, court records and more. However, such data tends to be scattered across different systems and teams. It is difficult to actually use that data due to inefficient management. Additionally, they tend to be vulnerable to potential security breaches.
In collaboration with Software Company CloudCourt, Iagon is developing a proof of concept (POC) that can solve the aforementioned problems by enabling businesses to manage their data in a secure and efficient way.
Cardano-based projects combine Iagaon's distributed cloud storage with CloudCourt's AI-based legal tools to process and analyze transcripts.
Ford provides several advisory inputs based on our expertise as a Fortune 500 company with a large legal department. Automakers evaluate the efficiency and feasibility of Cardano-powered data storage and audit trails. Blockchain-based projects are compared to traditional solutions.
Iagon emphasizes that participation in Ford's projects demonstrates that blockchain is gaining traction beyond mere finance.
This is not Ford's first foray into the blockchain. In 2019, renowned automakers partnered with IMB, LG Chem and some other companies to use the technology to ensure ethical cobalt mining practices. He was also the founder of the Mobi Blockchain Initiative, which was founded in 2018 with BWM, Renault and General Motors.
In September 2022, the company submitted a large number of metaverse-linked trademarks.
