As the US government shutdown continues, President Donald Trump is preparing a special invitation.
US President Donald Trump is scheduled to host a private dinner for top Wall Street CEOs today, Reuters reports.
A White House official confirmed to Reuters that Trump would meet with financial leaders, but would not confirm the list of attendees.
Dinner attendees included JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, Nasdaq Chairman Adena Friedman, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, and Morgan Stanley CEO Ted Pick.
President Trump's dinner was reportedly held to signal his desire to work with financial leaders on policies to make capital markets more competitive and rebuild domestic supply chains.
JPMorgan previously announced that it would invest $1.5 trillion (approximately 2.2 trillion won) over the next 10 years in areas critical to national security and economic recovery, including supply chain, manufacturing, defense, energy independence, and advanced technology.
