The initiative brings together businesses, startups, universities, NGOs, and individual developers under a unified framework designed to foster scalable innovation and participation in governance.
The program introduces several membership tiers, including Founders, Honorary Members, Association Members, and Ecosystem Members, and is aimed at startups, academic institutions, corporations, and community builders. Members will have access to special training sessions, certification programs, and a repository of real-world use cases and technical research.
Through a dedicated membership portal, participants can connect globally to share projects, collaborate on pilots, and participate in fundraising efforts. You'll also receive invitations to events, meetups, and leadership forums that foster innovation across sectors.
Additionally, members have the opportunity to exercise their voting rights, participate in governance committees, and contribute to Hedera's standards and policies. Other benefits include early access to grants, accelerator programs, sponsorship opportunities, and participation in community champions and global referral programs.
Building a trusted Web3 ecosystem
According to Kamal Yousefi, president of the Hashgraph Association, the initiative aims to unite diverse innovators and companies into one collaborative ecosystem. He emphasized that the program will serve as a platform for global knowledge sharing and cooperation among Hedera-based peoples.
He pointed out:
Our global membership program is a great platform to share knowledge and interact with other individuals and organizations building Hedera around the world.
The association's broader mission extends beyond education. In line with Hedera's vision of transparent, efficient, and compliant distributed ledger technology (DLT), we aim to provide enterprises and governments with a trusted partner for Web3 integration.
With council members including Google, IBM, Boeing, Standard Bank, and Ubisoft, Hedera has established itself as the trusted network for large-scale, auditable deployments.
Strengthening global partnerships
This launch follows THA's recent strategic cooperation agreement with the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to explore blockchain applications in public infrastructure and governance.
The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors in exploring and implementing Web3 and distributed ledger technology (DLT).
THG and DOST signed six different agreements with the first six administrative regions of the Philippines, marking the beginning of region-specific implementation. The initial participating regions are the National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Central Luzon, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Davao.
Hedera Hashgraph also recently partnered with Google BigQuery's public dataset, giving developers, analysts, and enterprises access to the network's complete transaction history.
The Global Membership Program positions Hedera as a catalyst for the next phase of Web3 infrastructure adoption by providing structured access to training, funding, and international collaboration. At the same time, Hedera's native token, HBAR, declined, reflecting the market's new optimism. 1.12% 2% in the last 24 hours, 2% in the past month, currently trading at almost 2% $0.185.
