Bitcoin's hash rate further increased, reaching 1,164 exahash per second (EH/s) at 2:40 pm ET on Sunday.
Bitcoin hashrate soars as profits improve
Having hit a high of 1,157 EH/s just two days ago, Bitcoin’s hashrate has casually leveled up. Add another 7 EH/s to reach 1,164 EH/s. For those who like big numbers, that's a cool 1.164 ZetaHashes per second (ZH/s).
According to current hashrate statistics from hashrateindex.com, as of 11:45 AM on October 20th, Bitcoin's hashrate is running at 1,154.16 EH/s. Leading the way is Foundry USA, flexing at 334.18 EH/s, which is about 28.96% of the total network, according to the mempool.space metric.

According to hashrateindex.com data, we use a 7-day simple moving average (SMA) to aggregate the 30-day hashrate.
Antpool is stable at around 199.24 EH/s, accounting for 17.26% of Bitcoin’s total hashrate. This powerful duo, in collaboration with Foundry, controls the majority of 46.22% of the network.
In third place was ViaBTC with 135.99 EH/s, which is about 11.78% of the total, followed by F2pool and Spiderpool in the top five with 122.29 EH/s and 92.77 EH/s, respectively. As the BTC price increases, the hash price (estimated value of 1 petahash per second (PH/s)) is also gradually increasing.

Hashrate distribution among the top 20 pools based on mempool.space metric on October 20, 2025.
In just 24 hours, hashprice increased by 3.14%, from $46.51 to $47.97 per PH/sec. Still, hash price is still 6.89% below its September 20, 2025 level. Over the past day, miners have raked in an average of 3.14 BTC per block, of which only 0.60% comes from on-chain fees.
The Bitcoin mining game is firing on all cylinders, with hash rate milestones accumulating and hash prices rising in tandem with the rise in BTC prices. While Foundry and Antpool continue to dominate the charts, 84 different smaller pools keep the competition alive.
Even with hash prices below their September 20th levels, miners remain locked in and focused, proving once again that the Bitcoin network is not just strong, but relentlessly pushing the limits of digital grit and computational durability.
