The agreement was signed by NEXUS CEO Henry Chang and CertiK CEO Ronghui Gu, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership between the two companies. This comes at a critical time for NEXUS, which manages CROSS' key features such as gaming services, decentralized exchanges, wallets, and creator tools.
The company is preparing to launch a stablecoin-based payment system to enable smooth and easy transactions within games and other services.
CertiK’s track record strengthens NEXUS’ ambitions
CertiK is well-known in the field of Web3 security, checking smart contracts, identifying risks in real-time, and continuously monitoring blockchain activity. The platform has reviewed over 5,000 projects and has helped protect approximately $600 billion worth of digital assets.
Well-known platforms such as Ethereum, Binance, and Tether are also well-known clients, and these giants demonstrate how important CertiK is within the industry.
According to the announcement, this partnership aligns with NEXUS' goal of building strong security from day one. As the CROSS platform expands with tools such as SDKs, APIs, wallets, and marketplaces, NEXUS needs strong protection to avoid future security issues. This is even more important for stablecoins where secure payments and settlements are important.
Four pillars of collaboration
This memorandum is outlined across four main points:
- Security and smart contract audits: The security platform conducts audits on NEXUS and CROSS, examining components such as payments, gaming, and stablecoin contracts to ensure they have scalable and transparent code.
- On-chain risk monitoring: It also provides live monitoring of blockchain and smart contracts, and shares security insights to protect users and systems before problems occur.
- Compliance and stablecoin framework for Asia: We also conduct custom regulatory checks and best practices for Asia-based stablecoins to ensure they meet global rules for gaming payments and cross-border transactions.
- Business development and expansion into Asia: Share market plans, grow the ecosystem, and engage partners. CertiK is also considering a strategic investment in NEXUS to strengthen its long-term partnership.
This setup makes CROSS reliable enough for enterprises and makes it easier for developers and global partners to participate.
Accelerating the growth of the CROSS ecosystem
CROSS is supported by NEXUS' team of over 100 blockchain and gaming experts and benefits greatly from this partnership. This partnership will help improve payment security, build trust in the platform, and ensure compliance within the ecosystem. As Web3 games grow, these security measures become important, and CROSS is well-positioned to expand.
Explaining the importance of this partnership, NEXUS CEO Henry Zhang said, “Working with CertiK is a turning point for NEXUS. It allows us to accelerate the expansion of our business and infrastructure while ensuring world-class security standards. We are committed to building a system that is not only innovative, but resilient, transparent, and ready for the next decade of growth.”
Ronghui Gu, co-founder and CEO of CertiK, said, “As stablecoins and on-chain gaming continue to grow, the industry's need for trusted security, clear governance, and strong compliance has never been more important. Our partnership with NEXUS is an important step in evolving security standards across Web3. We look forward to working closely with NEXUS to support the ecosystem's long-term growth and innovation.”
