Open Loot is a developer focused on blockchain-based gaming infrastructure. OL chaina custom-built layer 3 network designed to make in-game transactions faster, cheaper, and publicly verifiable.
The company said OL Chain records every transaction, purchase, and interaction across the ecosystem directly on-chain, with the aim of increasing transparency for both players and partner studios.
speed and scale
OL Chain seeks to address one of the major friction points in the blockchain game: transaction latency and gas costs. According to Open Loot, transactions on the OL chain will be settled in real time, initially Zero gas billlowering the barrier for first-time users.
The new network will also inherit Ethereum's security model while offering optional “gas sponsorship”, allowing developers to pay network fees on behalf of players. This is an incentive that the company believes will improve user retention and engagement.
Utilities for token holders
The chain’s launch expands the use cases for Open Loot’s native tokens. $OLby linking platform activity and transaction volumes to token demand and broader ecosystem value.
“OL Chain was built to make blockchain games feel invisible to players,” the company said in a statement. “We want the benefits of transparency and ownership, eliminating the friction that defines most Web3 experiences.”
Transparency and oversight
Activity on OL Chain can be tracked through a public explorer that shows wallet distribution, transaction history, and network performance data. Early activity reflects internal testing and onboarding ahead of broader studio integration.
This launch is part of Open Loot's efforts to extend the gaming ecosystem beyond a single marketplace and into a multi-studio infrastructure layer. Additional technical documentation and roadmap details are available on the company's Developer Wiki.
