Billionaire technology investor and co-founder of PayPal and Palantir, Peter Thiel is part of a group of investors who hold a 7.5% stake in 180 life sciences, rebranding Ethzilla, a corporate finance vehicle focused on Ethereum, according to a new SEC disclosure.

180 Life Sciences (ATNF) shares rose by more than 11% at the end of Monday, up about 57% in overnight trading, Yahoo Finance Data shows.
180 Life Sciences announced its Ethereum financial plan in late July.
On Monday, the biotech company said it sold its senior secured convertible notes scheduled for 2028 to institutional investors following its recent private placement of $425 million. Revenues primarily fund Ethereum purchases, yield assets, and the company's IGAMING operations, monetizing legacy biotechnology IP.
Thiel's Investor Group currently invests in two Ethereum Treasury Companies. In mid-July he reported that he owns more than 9% of Tomley's Bit Mine Immersion.
