The Grantshares platform has seen a wave of activity over the past few months, with a wide range of proposals being submitted, implemented, expired or withdrawn.
Highlights include onboarding new DAO members, supporting the development of projects such as Pixudi and Neoredpill Shop, and introducing requested proposal formats that catalyze increased activity.
Below is a summary of the proposals submitted since the last updated article.
2023

The proposal for Neodashboard to launch smart contracts for Bneo-based staking and liquidity models was withdrawn after feedback calling for 1,000 NEOs and for further clarity on mechanisms and value generation. The $nd project was designed as a proof of concept for safer token launches.
NeoCast: Converting Web3 Communications

NeoCast proposed a push notification and messaging system for NEO applications and requested 883 NEO. Despite technical interest, the proposal was withdrawn without proceeding to vote.
Add member multisig addresses as funders for the Ministry of Finance

This internal proposal introduced a new multi-signature address, consisting of all Grantshares voting members, as financial funders. This addition will allow for refunds to the Ministry of Finance in the event of overpayment of funds or price volatility. It did well.
IQRACRYPTO: Arabic Initiative

A proposal was proposed to request 634 gas and created educational content in Arabic focused on the NEO blockchain. Iqracrypto aims to address the lack of Arabic resources by creating structured courses, short videos and articles.
Footprint analysis

Footprint Analytics proposed a data infrastructure platform for NEO, requesting 4,167 NEOs to provide blockchain indexes, API access, dashboards and structured analytics at three milestones. The three-month plan includes a team of three with funds to cover engineering, storage, node operations and long-term support.
Pixudi (milestone 2, initial submission)

1,355 NEO requests to extend your Pixudi game with Neofs integration, new mechanics, NEO-themed boards and marketplace items have expired without support. The submission was intended to fill NFT/GameFi in traditional board games, and included plans for NEOF and smart contract integration. Community Feedback requested a more detailed itemized funding breakdown.
Sandox IDE's Neon-JS

The Sandox IDE team has requested 575 NEO to integrate NEON-JS for browser-based NEO DAPP development. The IDE provides ES6 support for WASM-based plugin architecture and direct code execution, but the proposal has not been approved due to overlapping with existing tools.
Octane Finance

Octan Finance proposed a new AMM model using elastic parameterized limit orders to provide higher capital efficiency without the complexity of UX. 2,142 NEO requests cover formal verification, smart contract development, and FrontEnd UI. With a 90-day timeline, the team aims to deploy a testnet prototype on NEO-EVM.

Invariant has submitted 4,500 NEO requests to deploy unauthorized centralized liquidity AMMs to NEO N3. The project spans five milestones: smart contracts, typescript SDKs, web integration, analytics tools, and marketing.
Pixudi (Milestone 2, updated submission)

Pixudi's 1,355 NEO requests for Milestone 2 incorporate feedback that incorporates NFT mechanics, soulbound tokens, and ecosystem integration feedback such as NEO-themed partner boards and improved use of NEOFS. Case study articles and detailed roadmap were also shared. The proposal expired after missing the approval deadline.
neo.coupons

The Neo.Coupons team has requested 560 NEO to build a platform for emailing NEP-17 support coupons. Despite a phased rollout plan, the proposal raised concerns about UX onboarding, contract security and long-term sustainability.
Pixudi (milestone 2, request reduction)

Following previous feedback, Pixudi has reaffirmed mainnet Neof over IPF and submitted a revised 1,000 NEO request to hold deliverables while sharing the code for on-chain integration. This update highlighted neo-centric development, received approval, and led to successful execution.
rootswap x neo x

Rootswap has submitted a proposal requesting 5,000 Neo to develop the Defi platform for Neo X. Due to concerns about size and suitability, it was deemed more suitable for different funding channels and was withdrawn by the proposer.
NDEX Platform (Part 1)

The creators of Neodashboard proposed 1,100 gas grants to create, sell, and build tokens on the modular platform. The proposal was approved and received majority support in the vote, but was ultimately allowed to expire before it was implemented as regulatory concerns became apparent.
Ecosystem marketing proposal

MarketAcross has proposed a $50,000 campaign to increase the visibility of the ecosystem, demanding 3,185 NEO. The proposal was cancelled after receiving feedback that NEO's current growth stage tailored strategies and deliverables were missing.
Tunestamp

Tunestamp has requested 1,125 Neo to integrate the copyright timestamp platform with Neo. The project planned a two-month roadmap for UI improvements, NEO integration, outreach and compliance work. The proposal expired without moving forward after not attracting much attention.
A new GameFi approach

A proposal requesting 600 NEO has been submitted to a telegram-based GameFi platform where users compete in the room for pooled rewards from $DeGen token deposits. Feedback focused on token contradictions and roadmap clarity. There has been no votes or support.
Gaspot Raffle Fund

Gaspot has requested 1,100 NEOs to automate the raffle process and add features such as wallet login and monthly “Supergaspot” jackpots. Community support was expressed, but clarification of development costs and deliverables was required.
Fantasy Football/Soccer League

The aim was 1,200 gas requests aimed at developing browser-based fantasy football games on NEO N3 and Neo X, with NFT player cards and blockchain-based scoring. The proposal was withdrawn due to concerns regarding feasibility, API use, and team qualifications.
Raam India

1,750 gas proposals have been submitted, and Web3 has been integrated and gaming online chess platform Raremind has been developed. Users connect their accounts at chess.com/lichess.org, convert points into tokens and participate in the forecast market. Deliverables include the Neo X-based ERC721 NFTS and a token/liquidity pool.
Fantasy Soccer League with YouTube Demo

This revised fantasy soccer proposal called for 2,600 gas and included a video demo. Despite the update, it was eventually withdrawn after community concerns about project clarity and resource use.
Vietnamese prize event

120 gas proposals have been approved and executed to fund a promotional event that distributes gas to Vietnamese users. The goal was to increase local engagement with the NEO ecosystem through educational content and wallet onboarding.

Alphaday's Neo Dashboard

Rabbito Game Development

Neoverse Holders Airdrop

To celebrate support for Neo X, a request for one gas has been symbolically opened to test the flow of the mainnet. It was rejected due to insufficient votes to pass.
NeoredPill Shop

1,581 gas grants have been approved to build a “NeoredPill” online shop that accepts NEP-17 tokens. It includes integration with Neo Wallets and aims to demonstrate practical commercial use cases.
Neo Blockchain Coworking Space Hub

The proposal to launch a neo-branded coworking space that demands 5,000 neo has expired without approval. The initiative was intended to increase the physical visibility of NEOs in the developer community by providing resources and hosting events.
Raihno – Ai-Ai-Aided Workout Tracking

Raihno, a project of NEO Community Contributor Merl, requested 6,300 gas to develop a blockchain integrated fitness app using NEOX for NFT outcomes and NEOFS's distributed data storage. The proposal remains undecorated.
NEO Model Context Protocol Server (MCP)

The MCP proposal aims to enable AI applications to query Neo blockchain data using natural language. 3,500 NEO has been requested to build an MCP server, documentation and tutorials. The discussion of the proposal focused on existing solutions.

This update comes when the GrantShares platform first received a requested proposal submission. Requests for proposals provide a way to demonstrate voting members' desire for a variety of initiatives.
The first RFP was a call for vote members for new Grantshares. This initiative was made to improve due diligence and growth of the platform.

The second RFP was involved in the travel grant for the Centre Point Initiative, which was held recently in Dubai. The grant sponsors community contributors to participate in the event.
