Whale Alert, a blockchain tracking service that monitors large cryptocurrency transactions, has discovered massive XRP transfers worth almost $700 million. This transfer was conducted between two anonymous blockchain wallets and encouraged heated discussions within the XRP community.
However, the analytics accounts removed the mysterious Fleur and intervened to reveal both the sender and recipient of this large XRP batch.
200,000,015 XRP changes hands
According to the aforementioned data source, an astounding chunk of 200,000,015 XRP was transferred from one unknown wallet to another about six hours ago. This enormous amount of code was valued at $687,286,623 at the start of the transfer.
The discussion began in a section of comments where many cryptography enthusiasts shared their views that this anonymous enthusiast was a routine thing created by whales: “Another day at the whale playground.” Many other comments have been published that have named the whale a participant in the transaction.
However, the Analytics account @xrpWallets, which often shares on-chain data about XRP transactions on Xpages, intervened via explanation. According to their tweets, 200,000,015 XRP was traded between wallets associated with Ripple Labs.
According to the tweet, the funds have been moved from the wallet activated in 2020 to a new blockchain address.
