Shiba Inu has seen a surge of 883% over the past 24 hours, despite its huge surge in burning rates rather than price.
According to Shibburn, 21,611,083 Shibs have been burned in the last 24 hours, increasing the daily fire rate by 883.89%. Within the last 24 hours, one transaction transferred 16,444,740 Shivs into a withered wallet, contributing to the amount of tokens burned. Over the past seven days, 131,421,765 Shivs have been burned, showing a surge in weekly fire rates of 129.63%.

Shiba Inu's ecosystems can drive token burns consistently, increase shortages and increase long-term value.
With 131 million tokens burning over the past seven days, representing a small percentage of Shiv's total supply, which still has trillions of trillions of its burn activity signal, has increased momentum within the Shiv community.
Spikes of 883% of burn rates in just one day reflect higher engagement through DAPP use, shiverium trading, or coordinated community burn efforts.
410.75 trillion shib was destroyed from total shib supply
According to Shibburn data, a staggering 410.75 trillion Shiv (410,751,430,845,300 Shiv) tokens have been permanently removed from the total supply through burns. This massive figure represents a significant decline in the once-strong supply of meme-based coins in one quarter, highlighting its long-term commitment to strengthening the shortage of Shiv.
Despite already burning in large quantities, Shiv still has a substantial circular supply, currently exceeding 580 trillion tokens. According to Shibburn, 584,584,701,549,702 shivs constitute the circulation supply.
However, continued burns and increased network use may gradually reduce this over time. At press time, Shiv fell 4.94% to $0.00001496 over the past 24 hours, but increased by 15.27% per week.
