Shiba Inu lead ambassador Shitoshi Kusama has broken his silence on X for the first time in 84 days, tweeting several times in the past 24 hours.
Before that, Kusama made her last post on X on September 15, 2025, stating that her silence should not be considered an absence and that she will continue to be by the Shiba Inu team's side.
Fast forward to December 8th, and the Shiba Inu lead ambassador returns to the X to interact with submissions from the Shiba Inu community.
In one such post, Kusama hinted at the reason she chose silence and peace: to invest in herself. Kusama previously said the reason for his silence was to focus on the personal AI-driven missions he is working on.
In another exchange regarding X, Kusama said, “This is a good time to speak out,” but expressed some hesitation.
Shiba Inu revival?
The Shiba Inu lead ambassador also changed the location of X for the first time in several weeks. Kusama's previous filming location “Hawaii USA” has been updated to “Reappear”. The Shiba Inu community has been keen to see what happens next in the SHIB ecosystem, as they have been passing on subtle hints from time to time through changes in the X bio.
Kusama's location is not a real location, so its background remains unknown. Recent updates may hint at a resurgence. “Resurfacing” means coming back to being visible or prominent again.
Shiba Inu Whale activity jumps
Santimento said Shiba Inu whale activity has seen the highest spike in six months. Santimento said in a tweet that the Shiba Inu whale's adoption price was the highest since June 6. There were 406 large transactions (meaning transactions over $100,000).
The surge in whale activity equates to a net change of 1.6 trillion in SHIB amounts on exchanges. Santiment said these signals, along with market macro dynamics, could lead to higher volatility in SHIB in the coming days.
At press time, SHIB was up slightly by 0.31% in the past 24 hours to $0.000008594, and up 7.44% for the week.
