The Shiba Inu team is dealing with accusations of selectively endorsing certain shivalium projects at the disadvantage of others.
Tensions have been brewing in the Shiba INU community over the past few days after the release of the Position Exchange Native Token (POE) IDO on July 31st.
In particular, Shiba Inu leaders Shytoshi Kusama and Kaal Dhairya will both serve as advisors for position exchanges. Each promoted the IDO on the X timeline.
“If I don't speak up, my only other option is to leave the game completely.” Woohoop made a comment.
Teams deal with criticism
In response, Dhairya acknowledged that Woofswap's concerns were valid. However, he also pointed to his own efforts to ensure that Woohoop receives proper recognition.
He argued that the main challenge facing Shiba Inu today is not selective support but a lack of unity. He said that ecosystem decisions are affected by personal bias rather than objective assessments, which means legitimate projects suffer collateral damage.
Dhairya acknowledged that recruitment advisors and influencers are common practices in the crypto sector, including within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Although he believes this practice is acceptable, Dhairya emphasized the need to set higher standards for projects receiving promotions in Shiba Inu's ecosystem.
The team wants to be unified against external threats
In particular, developers have put aside internal conflicts, such as top 10 crypto rankings and projects that seek to undermine tokens, and urge the community to unite against external forces.
He also called on the community to deal with entities such as the Ethereum Foundation and Vitak Butarin.
Progress
Dhairya noted that achieving this unity involves strengthening the strength of a wave and establishing authentic community governance. Through this, Dhairya believes that he will end up having an equal voice on community-supported projects and ultimately ensuring favorability and transparency.
He also proposed that Shiba Inu could use the quad token governance model and “great dog code.” This is an ethical framework that holds leaders like Kusama accountable and prevents other top community figures from misusing influence.
On the other hand, Poe Ido has a low performance. As a result, the team suddenly stopped the IDO and committed to refund all contributions made during the event.
