Gemini, the leading US cryptocurrency exchange, officially announced its XRP credit card, which was teased earlier this month.
Exaggerated card holders can earn 4% cashback on gas, EV charging and public transport.
It also offers 3% cashback on meals and 2% cashback on groceries. Other purchases come with a 1% cashback.
that's it?
The XRP community is not impressed with the introduction of new products. Some members complain that they have not actually brought anything new to the table (apart from the “XRP” logo).
Basically the same product you already have…but there's a little “x” in it 🤦🏻‍♂️Jeez…

The exchange, run by Winklevoss Twins, first announced its XRP rewards in March, which allowed them to earn up to 4% cashback in March. Given that many clients are already using regular cards, I felt that Monday's announcement was somehow responsive.
So, a new camouflage on the same card. EW

Why XRP?
As reported by U.Today, the Winklevoss Twins have a rather complicated history in the XRP community. After previously dismissing members as “silly trolls,” they compensated with the holders of the third largest cryptocurrency.
In a latest blog post, Gemini revealed that he has chosen to introduce XRP-specific cards due to the significant benefits his token has recorded over the past year. In fact, the reward worth $73,700 has been changed to $407,000.
Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss says the XRP community can express “passion” and “loyalty” with the help of new cards. At the same time, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse claims that the new product will make cryptography “simple” and “Appportalbe.”
