THORChain has launched a public beta of swap.thorchain.org, a native swap interface positioned as the protocol's primary frontend for cross-chain cryptocurrency transactions. THORChain is a decentralized liquidity protocol for native asset swaps. This interface allows users to exchange digital assets directly between blockchains without the need for wrapped tokens, bridges, or centralized intermediaries.
The platform supports swapping native assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP, BNB, TRX, DOGE, BCH, LTC, AVAX, ATOM, etc. using self-custody wallets. Users do not need to connect their wallet to the website to initiate a swap. This reflects THORChain's focus on minimizing dependencies at the interface level. All swaps are routed directly through the THORChain protocol, ensuring that transactions remain native and non-custodial.
The Swap interface is open source and designed for use by both new and experienced DeFi participants. The beta phase is intended to collect user feedback ahead of the official release, scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. Future updates are expected to expand token support, improve onboarding visibility, and integrate additional protocol features such as liquidity provision and bonding.
