According to a post on social media on Thursday, the major US cryptocurrency exchange Gemini appears to be on track to release XRP-themed cards.
The exchange has placed a sign in Manhattan's busy commercial area to promote a new product scheduled for release on August 19th.
As Reported by U.TodayGemini recently made fun of the “next era” of XRP rewards ahead of its release on Thursday.

That said, the latest announcement attracted a backlash from Bitcoin-centric users in exchange. They condemned exchanges to promote tokens that appear to be centralized.
Some XRP holders are also questioning whether product launches (and signs in busy areas of Manhattan) will affect the prices of Ripple Link tokens, which have been struggling to pick up more steam recently.
Gemini's XRP Rewards Program
The release of Gemini's XRP card comes after the release of the popular Ripple-Linked Altcoin rewards for the exchange in March. This allows cryptocurrency owners to earn up to 4% cashback on Gemini credit cards.
Now, Gemini has launched XRP-centric credit cards in particular to further accommodate the community.
From dislikes to cheerleaders
Gemini's new love for XRP is a relatively recent phenomenon. In fact, Tyler Winklevos, co-founder of the leading US cryptocurrency exchange, has openly rebutted the community behind the token after rejecting the list of tokens.
In fact, Gemini refused to list the XRP list, even after Ripple hung $1 million before it.
However, after Ripple's legal victory, Exchange moved to List XRP in August 2023.
