USDT0, the unified liquidity network for Tether’s USDT stablecoin, reported that over $50 billion has been moved across the protocol. The cross-chain payments infrastructure provider reached this milestone 10 months after its launch in January 2025. The network allows USDT transfers between major blockchains without the use of wrapped tokens or custodial bridges.
In 2025, USDT0 was expanded across major Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems to support faster settlement of payments, remittances, and institutional transactions. The protocol currently connects 15 chains including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana. USDT0 recorded over 415,000 transactions with an average settlement time of 30-40 seconds.
This network also links native USDT on the main chain through a legacy mesh architecture. This includes USDT on Ethereum via ERC-20, TRON via TRC-20, and TON via the native token format. Over $12.5 billion was transferred in the last month, making USDT0 the most active omnichain token on LayerZero.
