Vaulten officially launched on Neo N3 Mainnet, introducing on-chain puzzles and logic games inspired by escape rooms and cryptographic riddles. Players can engage in weekly and monthly challenges across a variety of difficulty levels, with the opportunity to earn NFT rewards and the occasional gas prize.

Gameplay and mechanics
Vaulten is designed around the lore where “The Vault” once held the perfect chain of source keys. A rogue faction called the Architects has scattered its vaults across numerous smart contracts and locked access through cryptographic puzzles. Solving these puzzles will be considered a “proof of resourcefulness” and new rewards will be unlocked.

Users can spend gas to submit on-chain guesses and claim NFT rewards if correct. These NFTs appear in a “vault” linked to a user’s wallet. Also, wins occasionally result in gas payments.
The puzzle is divided into three layers.
- Surface layer (easy): “Recently exposed code fragments. Unstable, but accessible.”
- Deep Node (Medium): “Hidden inside an old contract protected by a logic loop.”
- Core cipher (hard): “Obfuscated by the architects themselves. Few ever get this far.”
Funding and community support
Vaulten was supported by Grantshares community funding DAO. The DAO secured unanimous support with seven votes. On September 10th, a funding allocation of 2,300 gas was released. This project is intended as a free, community-driven initiative aimed at stimulating engagement in the NEO ecosystem.
Initiate incentives and countermeasures
To celebrate the launch, Vaulten is running a rewards campaign until October 11th.
- Each puzzle attempt grants 0.05 gas (maximum 2 attempts per puzzle).
- Each solved puzzle prizes 0.1 gas.
- Only wallets with previous transaction history are eligible.
- Newly created wallets (or wallets that only received gas, solving the puzzle on the first attempt) will be disqualified.
This policy is intended to discourage “farming” of rewards with single-use addresses.
